SmokeFree Innotec Inc. is a company I came across as I was doing research for my first post on the FDA. SmokeFree Innotec is the leading innovator of the electronic cigarette industry. SFI has revolutionized the electronic cigarette by implementing a biodegradable cartridge which is micro-infused with a dry nicotine. All current models of e-cigs on the market use plastic cartridges containing liquid nicotine which sometimes leak. On top of that SFI's electronic cigarette is 100% smokeless. I'm really psyched, this company has a lot of potential in leading the way for better more efficient electronic cigarettes in the future.
SFI also has a new product called smoker's option, and it's totally different from their electronic cigarette. Even though this product is nicotine free, conceptually it's an awesome idea. Smoker's options are flavored cigarettes that do not get lit or heated in any way. The idea is to just draw on the smoker's option as if it was a normal cigarette and enjoy the taste and psychological feeling of smoking. This product is also extremely inexpensive at $12.99 for a carton, and each cigarette lasts for a long time. Very interesting alternative to a cigarette in my opinion.
